Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

to provide the "Sunday School in a Box" for Chinese children in danger of
becoming persecutors of the Church rather than mature Christians.

Help Us Start 5,000 New Sunday Schools Across China in the Next 12 Months

The number one challenge facing the church in China is not cross demolition or church raids. It is the full-scale effort on the part of the Chinese Communist Party to prevent the children of Christians from becoming believers themselves.

That is why Voice of the Martyrs Korea is joining China Aid in announcing today a campaign to open 5,000 Sunday Schools in China in the next twelve months. And we'd like to ask you to join us.

The campaign, called “Sunday School in a Box”, assembles the leading legally available children’s Bible in China, a compact video player, and a comprehensive curriculum of digital resources for parents and children. Each “Sunday School in a box” is designed to reach an average of seven children and will be distributed through VOMK and China Aid's joint underground house church network. The materials are specially designed to allow parents of all educational levels to teach the full scope of the Christian faith to their own children and relatives...

from attending religious services. Be a part of the movement to
provide a "Sunday School in a Box" to Chinese children so that their
parents might have the materials necessary to disciple them in the home!

Doers of the Word
Sermon
In this “Doers of the Word” (DOTW) sermon, we consider the part of the Lord’s Prayer that asks God to “give us this day our daily bread.”
This prayer, which the Lord has taught us, is very practical. It includes everything we need in life in this one sentence! It also teaches us to how to seek God for the things that we need.

Pastor Tim's Prayer Points
  • We currently have eleven brand new NK Underground Technology (UT – basic discipleship school) students. In order to survive in North Korea, many of these students had to live in such a way that would shock many of us. One of our students said, “If you were to survive in NK, there is no way you cannot violate the Ten Commandments.” These sins are now deeply embedded in their souls. Although these students have now dedicated their lives to Christ, they are constantly battling old ways of living and thinking. It is truly spiritual warfare for them. Please pray that holistic transformation would take place in the lives of each of these UT students.

  • Please pray for the children of NK women and Chinese husbands. These children are the result of NK women who have been sex-trafficked to Han Chinese men. Often, these children are abandoned by both parents when the NK woman escapes to South Korea. These children have no family, no country and very little hope for the future. We are seeing God redeem many of these families and as a result the mothers are deciding to stay in China with their families. Pray that they can grow in the grace of the Lord as a family and that the parents can properly disciple their children.

  • Please pray that we will continue to be able to share discipleship resources with North Koreans through radio and other technology. Both the Chinese and the North Korean governments are always trying to block our short-wave broadcasts and recently the Chinese government has been prohibiting our partners from installing satellite receivers that enable them to listen to our satellite broadcast. We have experienced this in the past and the Lord has always been faithful, so please pray that the Lord would give wisdom to our technicians and to the North Koreans who tune into our daily broadcasts.
