Remembering History & Building The Future! | | |
Pearl Street Foot Bridge:
It took a long time, 6 years and dozens of calls to IDNR in Springfield, our lawmakers, our lobbyist along with a Deputy Director of IDNR both who made site visit but it finally was accomplished. Sometimes persistence pays off. The Pearl Street Foot Bridge is being reconstructed. A part of our history we didn’t want to lose.

A message from Ameren:
After a long, hot summer, and an unexpectedly warm September, we know our customers are feeling the strain of higher electric bills along with other rising household costs.
On October 1 we transition to non-summer rates which bring a lower rate, combined with a stepped pricing structure and expected reduction in energy usage in the fall months. We are hopeful our customers will experience some relief. Customers receiving electric supply from Ameren Illinois will see electric prices decrease from $0.11326 to $0.10441 for the first 800 kWh and all usage above 800 kWh will be $0.08262/kWh.
We recognize some households in our service territory could be struggling with managing their utility bill, and we want to share some help that is available.
Explore assistance and payment options
When costs are high, a little extra support can make a difference. If you are having trouble paying their bill or managing upcoming expenses, assistance programs and flexible payment options may be available.
See if you qualify at Ameren.com/Assistance.
