Dear friends and neighbors,

This holiday season looks different for so many families as they cope with the effects of an ongoing pandemic. With millions of Floridians struggling, House Democrats are proud to have delivered COVID relief just in time for the holidays. The bipartisan, bicameral COVID-19 relief package passed on Monday will help meet our community's needs through the winter. This compromise package includes funding for vaccine distribution, stimulus payments, extended unemployment benefits, relief for small businesses and housing, food and school assistance. Together, with the distribution of lifesaving vaccines, this temporary relief will help us control the virus, save lives and support our communities.

Keeping You Informed
I was honored to host a COVID-19 Facebook Live Town Hall to discuss our emergency relief package and take questions from you on critical resources for Central Floridians.
Taking the Vaccine
Upon medical advice of the House Attending Physician, I just took the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. I have the utmost confidence in the vaccine's safety and efficacy and encourage everyone to take it as distribution continues. As the vaccine is being distributed, I encourage everyone to continue to wear masks, practice social distancing and stay home whenever possible. Together, we will defeat the coronavirus!

Supporting Our Veterans
We’re very excited to announce the opening of the new Kissimmee VA Clinic! This state of the art facility is here to assist veterans by appointment or walk-in. For more information, call 407-518-5004.
Honoring Local Leaders
I was honored to present former State Representative John Cortes and Osceola Sheriff Russ Gibson with Certificates of Congressional Recognition. Each of them has positively impacted our community and I am grateful for their commitment to Central Floridians. I can’t wait to see what they will do next!
In the face of unprecedented challenges, Central Floridians in our community have shown immense courage. From the heroic efforts of our healthcare workers and first responders to our essential workers and teachers, each of you has helped our community get through the coronavirus crisis. In the spirit of the holiday season, I want to thank you. From my family to yours: may you stay safe, stay healthy and have a wonderful and joyful holiday!
