Ontario’s financial services regulator (FSRA) is establishing a new Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for Auto Insurance Fraud. FSRA is looking for 8–10 experienced professionals to provide technical expertise and strategic advice.
The TAC members will play a critical role in advancing FSRA’s Fraud & Abuse
Strategy, which has been developed in consultation with the Ministry of Finance,
industry and consumer representatives. This strategy will help FSRA quantify and better detect, prevent and deter auto insurance fraud in the system.
Ideal candidates for the TAC are senior leaders with technical fraud expertise in claims, underwriting, fraud investigation, financial crime and / or fraud data analytics.
FSRA expects the TAC to complete its mandate by December 31, 2026.
