Greetings!
As many of you know, Autotrix is a huge supporter of Special Olympics Montana. This picture is of the Helena Halo's, which is a group of young adults that have recently graduated from Helena and Capital High and are being mentored by current Carroll College students. I'm sure that a majority of you buy the Special Olympic raffle tickets each year, as they are sold in many retail stores around the state. But what many of you do not know is that when you buy tickets at these retailers, that money goes into the SOMT general fund and not to your local teams. For every ticket that you buy from a local athlete, or their family members the majority of the $5.00 goes to their team to purchase uniforms, travel expenses and equipment, etc.
My daughter Kennedy is on the Halo's, so we have tickets for sale at Autotrix and she and her team would appreciate anyone who would be willing to part with their hard earned money to make these athletes lives better.
If you cannot make it to the shop, the Halo's will be selling tickets in the foyer of Super 1 grocery store on most Saturday afternoons for the next few months.
This year's list of prizes is pretty impressive and the tickets are only $5.00:
- Grand Prize: 2023 Chevy Silverado Pickup
- 2nd Prize: $5,000.00 cash
- 3rd Prize: $1,500.00 gift card to Scheels
