Join us September 17 for our 25th anniversary celebration - details below.

Dear colleagues and supporters,

For 25 years, COGdesign has been helping communities in Greater Boston realize their vision for green space. COGdesign unites people in common cause around a simple concept — that green spaces bring new life, new spirit, and new purpose into a neighborhood.

Your support for COGdesign’s 25th anniversary will affirm our unique role as community partner and advocate. Will you make a gift today?

Humble origins, good intentions, and big plans are the defining characteristics of COGdesign. Our inclusive model finds us connecting with community leaders, reaching out for designers (of all ages and experiences), matching designers with the projects they’re interested in, encouraging ideas and feedback from neighborhood residents, and creating drawings that reflect community vision. To date, COGdesign has delivered over 150 concept plans, each distinctive and respectful of its home community. Hundreds of designers have partnered with us to collaborate with hundreds of community members in hundreds of community meetings. The monetary value of services we’ve delivered over these 25 years is nearly $1.5 million; the social value — even more inspiring.

COGdesign is an agent for social and environmental change. We do this work for ecological and equitable reasons, for justice, and to support health.

Your donation this year to our Green Growth Fund will accelerate our momentum. Consider making your gift a monthly donation here to ensure COG’s work is adequately supported for the next 25 years.

Gratefully,

Jennifer Kimball, Executive Director

Hadley Berkowitz, President of the Board
