Today, on #GivingTuesday, we are focused on raising funds for student scholarship, technology and innovation, and faculty development.

We are proud of the enhanced learning opportunities our faculty are providing our students.

  • This semester, Eureka College completed its first-ever solar project when 415 solar panels were mounted on top of the roof of the Cerf Center. As a followup, EC welcomed members of the StraightUp Solar team for a special lab and lecture for Dr. Katy Everett’s students.

“To have students from freshman to seniors, all different majors, in my class to be able to climb up on the roof of a campus building with campus leadership and staff, and solar personnel telling us how the panels work, and getting to see them from above,” Everett said, “that was unique.”

“That’s the kind of experiential learning that I like my students to have an opportunity to get at Eureka.”

  • Eureka College is now partnering with Saint Leo University to launch a unique new computer science program that will leverage both institutions’ strengths and better prepare students for a career in the field. It will feature a hybrid of in-person and online instruction.
  •
  • In partnership with Cybint, EC recently launched a Cybersecurity bootcamp program designed to successfully prepare people with little or no background in IT for entry level jobs in cybersecurity a high in-demand and lucrative career path.

Help us continue to offer these unique EC experiences.
