Bringing Joy to all Ages
If you check our calendar you will find many activities and blessings for all ages during this Christmas season. Our annual "Christmas store" is a heartwarming gift to the community struggling to cover just the basic needs. If you would like to help provide funds for Christmas expenses, gifts, meals and special events for children, youth, families or adults, you can donate here.
Volunteer Spotlight: Linda's Legacy
Kaitlyn (14) and Jaxon (9) Fielder
have been volunteering for MCH with their grandmother Linda Fielder for six years."When Jaxon was four, he saw his big sister helping me and he wanted to help roll the forks and spoons into napkins and make other special bags for senior adults and homeless lunch events too," shares Linda. Jaxon enjoys sorting toys and clothing at the Gano Mission Center, and both grandkids recently helped Linda fill 54 stockings with treats for the special Christmas lunch planned for the homeless on December 12. Linda has been an loyal MCH volunteer since 1983 when she helped in the Fletcher nursery (see her in the history video here. "Since Christ was a servant leader," she adds,"I think it is important for my grandkids to learn this biblical principle early in their lives. They truly enjoy helping others." See Linda's volunteer story on video here.
