Art Center Morro Bay Update

Art in the Park
Get the Facts!

T his eblast is to inform you of recent developments.

As your president, it is imperative that I inform you of the potential impact by the city's proposed changes to relocate the existing RTA bus stop from it's current location on Harbor St. to Morro Bay Blvd. Information supports that this project has been in the planning stages for approximately one year.

The City of Morro Bay Public Works has recommended several options to upgrade the Bus Stop Transit Center, located on the North side of the park. This re location will enhance traffic congestion and could impede safe unloading of passengers. Such a proposal would be the beginning of the end, of Art in the Park, and change the charm of Morro Bay.

GET INVOLVED, YOUR VOICE IS IMPORTANT!

You are encouraged to attend the city council meetings dated: April 9 and July 9 at the Vets Hall, 5:30pm.
