It is said that change happens gradually. And the most impactful changes we wish to create in our lives come after we identify our challenges, create a plan for our goals, and seek support to help us along the way.
For Ms. P, keeping pace with her plan through consistent steps and the support of the JFS Women’s Center has propelled her toward a new and exciting beginning. While it was not easy to juggle family, school and life's challenges, Ms. P's commitment to creating a secure future for herself and her family never wavered. Over the past three years, she completed career training along with an intense internship, and most recently, passed a national exam to become a Certified Tumor Registrar professional. Ms. P is awaiting to begin her new job during the first week of April.
"Thank you for always supporting me," she writes to Lisa B. at the JFS Women's Center, noting how her time with JFS has made attainment of her goals possible. From the bottom of our hearts, all of us at JFS congratulate Ms. P for her hard work and sacrifice toward achieving her goals.
