TESTIMONIAL
Teresa Jepsen from Trusted Senior Placement was very helpful and kind. After I called her it was just a few days when I received a list of homes to look at for my husband. They were all very close to our home. They were all very nice. Teresa knew what we wanted and the area we needed. My husband is happy in his new home. I even like the residents and visit with them too.

Did you know. . .
August was named in honor of Augustus Caesar. It has 31 days because Augustus wanted as many days as Julius Caesar's month of July had*. Previously named Sextilis in Latin, it was the sixth month of the Roman calendar.
*They took that extra day from February.

How are we different?

What makes us different from our competitors is that we do not give you a list of facilities to cold call. We research, interview, tour, negotiate cost, and select the best available options for your particular needs.

Do you have a loved one who is so overwhelmed with their material "stuff" that they are stressed and possibly in a physically compromising situation? Has your loved one been hospitalized and you have not heard about the serious consequences of Re-hospitalization and how to prevent it? Are you misinformed about how your finances and Medicaid mix? This month, we have collected some GREAT articles to get you some straight answers. Settle in with a glass of ice water sassed up with a squirt of fresh lemon, and a sprig of mint. These are a "must read." Enjoy and stay cool this August!!

Helping Hoarders
Understanding Elderly Hoarding: Signs, Causes, and Help.

Hoarding is a complex disorder that is not yet fully understood by the Mental Health Profession. It is compulsive shopping, acquiring, searching and saving of objects which leads to dysfunction, health, and safety issues in the home.

Preventing Re-Hospitalizations
The Hazards of Hospitalization: Ways to Avoid Preventable Issues and Re-admissions.

One of the best advances in medicine over the past 100 years is our ability to provide state-of-the-art technologic procedures and treatments that improve people's lives and longevity. For some, this requires being admitted to the hospital.

Medicaid Myths
Medicaid Planning and Eligibility.

I have to dispose of all my resources to get Medicaid.

This is not true. Individuals and married couples are permitted to own some property and still qualify for Medicaid.
