Helping New Believers Grow
Greetings!

We thank the Lord for the fruitful ministry of the South Pacific Tour 2023 in Australia and New Zealand, particularly in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Our team was blessed with the opportunity to share the Word and fellowship with our Cambodian brothers and sisters in Christ. It was inspiring for me to witness their hunger to grow and deepen their faith in the Lord.

Moreover, it brought great joy to see how the videos on CCI Cambodia's Facebook page have impacted their spiritual growth. The Cambodians expressed their delight in the fruitfulness of CCI Cambodia's ministry, and some have requested us to initiate training courses for them in Australia. We will continue to lift their needs before the Lord, asking Him to send someone equipped to help them grow in Christ.
Amidst the COVID crisis in Cambodia, the price of food and other commodities has increased substantially due to inflation, followed by an economic downturn. Consequently, many Cambodians, including churchgoers, are leaving their homes and families in search of employment in the cities or emigrating to neighboring countries like Thailand to support their loved ones.

To tackle this issue, CCI Cambodia has introduced a new activity called FAITH gardening (Food Always In The Home), which teaches pastors and churches various techniques on how to farm around their churches and homes. The objective is to help them improve their livelihoods and reduce their daily expenses.

To assist, CCI Cambodia provided farming training on June 9-10 to 14 churches in Bantay Meanchey, with the hope of empowering them to become self-sufficient and economically stable.
Thank you for your prayers and support,

Class Updates
Sunday School teachers in Takeo received two days of Bible training and evangelism on the New Testament, thanks to CCI Cambodia. This fruitful training helped these teachers from 11 churches to gain a better understanding of the entire story of the New Testament and equipped them to better facilitate evangelism and discipleship.
Meas Sat, CCI Cambodia Area Coordinator, emphasized the importance of all believers learning and teaching this fundamental knowledge within the church.
At least 30 students from different churches in Siem Reap are studying the Book #3: New Testament Survey. They enjoy studying the Word of God. One of the students stated, "It's important for us to have a thorough understanding of the context and structure of every book present in both the Old and New Testaments in the Bible."
Testimony
“Currently, I am studying with CCI and we are almost finished after 3 years of learning the Word. I greatly enjoy the lessons, as I have grown in biblical knowledge and in my spiritual walk, especially from Book #6: Personal Spiritual Growth. I am extremely grateful to CCI for their encouragement and for providing the educational materials, which have empowered me to teach others. As a result, my church has experienced growth, and we now have five ministers who are capable of instructing and preaching at Bread of Life Church.

Prayer Requests & Praises
  • Please keep Mony, the wife of Saren, in your prayers, as she is expected to give birth to their new baby soon.

  • The Samoeun family has been blessed by the Lord with a fourth child, a beautiful daughter whom they named Tabitha Bo. Please pray for this new addition to their family; that the Lord will watch over them, protect them from harm, and guide them. May He give them wisdom as parents, as they care for and love this child.

  • Please continue to pray for Meas Sat as he travels twice per month to provide training to a class in KamPot. Also, for Sitha as he teaches in the northern areas every month. Pray that the Lord will keep them safe in their travels to their destinations.

  • The staff of CCI Cambodia is looking forward to the Global Conference to be held in Thailand in November. Many would like to go, but do not have the money to buy plane tickets. Please pray for God’s provision for this. If you feel led to help, please click below. Thank you.
