Dear Friends of HPC,
The events that have unfolded over the past week regarding COVID-19 are changing life as we know it for the foreseeable future. Both the threat of the virus and the financial toll it's taking on our communities is frightening.

Our HPC Team is committed to continuing to provide assistance and support for our neighbors on the Lower and Outer Cape. For specific details on how we are doing this, please visit our website . While we continue our work, the impact of this crisis will strain our resources moving forward. I hope you'll consider helping us help our neighbors .

We anticipate an increased need of the following at HPC:

  • Our Case Management Services will need to serve even more Lower and Outer Cape residents as they manage unexpected financial hardships;

  • Community Outreach will need to be significantly expanded with our school partners and community-based organizations, when it is safe to resume face-to-face interaction with our clients;

  • Special Efforts will expand, including the Adopt-a-Family and Backpack-to-School programs as families are forced to divert resources now more than ever before.

I am asking for your support at this critical time so we can continue to provide our services throughout the duration and aftermath of this crisis. No one, HPC included, could have possibly prepared for what we are seeing today.

Please consider making an emergency gift to HPC , whatever you can, to ensure we're ready for our neighbors in their time of need.

Stay healthy and safe,
Hadley Luddy
Executive Director
