2023 Be Homeful for the Holidays Campaign to Fight Homelessness

NHMR is participating in the CT REALTORS® Foundation 8th annual Be Homeful for the Holidays campaign to help end family homelessness in CT. Your generous gift helps prevent families from becoming homeless by providing emergency assistance to help them stay in their home and not have to enter the shelter system. AND, for every $25 donated, the CT REALTORS® Care Foundation will gift a plush Paddington bear to a child living in a shelter for the holidays.

This year's need is much greater. There are many more people in need of housing assistance and CTR got a request for 1,100 more bears than last year. The housing shortage has extended average shelter stays from 30 days to 230 days…so it is critical to keep our children and families from entering shelters to begin with.

NHMR Earns Commercial Services Accreditation; CID Meeting this Week

NHMR has been awarded the Commercial Services Accreditation Gold level from the National Association of Realtors. The program acknowledges REALTOR® associations for a commitment to providing commercial services and engaging commercial members.

Many of these services are offered through our Commercial Investment Division (CID), a networking group of commercial practitioners that meets monthly. The next CID meeting is on Wednesday, November 15. If you are interested in attending or learning about CID, contact [email protected].
