San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking
Meet one of Milagro's new grantees, San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking. Founded in 2009, (SFCAHT) is a cross-sector coalition with membership of over 70 agencies and organizations from the law enforcement, government, and non-profit sectors working with a mission to eradicate human trafficking through education, advocacy, prevention and protection of the survivors.
Youth survivors are provided 24/7 crisis line assistance that includes safety planning, peer counseling, psychological and emotional support, help with navigating available resources, and coordinated referrals to shelters, long-term housing, legal services, mental & physical health services, case management, immediate need services (e.g. safe space, food and clothing,) child protective services, and law enforcement assistance and protections.
In addition, scholarships are available for youth survivors of human trafficking and youth at risk of violence and exploitation to support their reintegration through education and professional development.
