The Ugandan North American Association Executive and Council Representatives are closely monitoring developments related to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are working together to keep our members and greater UNAA family armed with information and resources. Your safety is of paramount importance to us. Please follow guidelines from local authorities, the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC). See 6 steps to kicking out Coronavirus below. We would also like to applaud our health care professionals who are spending sleepless nights in hospitals, ERs, clinics and nursing homes at the front line of this fight. We are proud of you. 6 STEPS
to kicking out Coronavirus (WHO / CDC)
Wash your HANDS
frequently with soap or hand sanitizer.

DISINFECT common areas
and frequently touched objects.

Cough into your ELBOW
or tissue. NEVER into your palms. dispose of tissues immediately.
Avoid touching your FACE
especially eyes, nose and mouth.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING
of at least 1m. avoid public places.

If you FEEL unwell,
stay at home or drive
straight to the HOSPITAL to protect others.

2020 has already been a redefining year for our generation. We hope that the Coronavirus outbreak will be over by UNAA San Francisco 2020, so that we can use it as a time to remember victims, celebrate heroes and give thanks.
