A Global Companionship Initiative of the Jesuit Schools Network
Dear JSN Companions:

Welcome to 2017 and the next set of opportunities to engage in our initiative in global companionship. Here's a look at where we've been and where we're going in the months ahead...
Here's What We've Initiated So Far
Walk A Mile In My Shoes

We hosted a webinar on how to create a refugee simulation using the toolkit from the Jesuit Refugee Service.
La Silla Roja

We grabbed our paintbrushes and joined Friends of Fey y Alegria in this global campaign to promote the importance of quality, inclusive education for all children and youth.
Global Network Maps

We debuted the Educate Magis maps at Colloquium and then invited schools to download, print and display them to show their connection to the worldwide Jesuit network.
Here's What's Next
Ignatian Carbon Challenge

The Ignatian Solidarity Network is working with the originators of this initiative from within our network to imagine its next iteration.  We will provide further information on this important stewardship piece in February.
International Congress Planning

Educate Magis will be hosting a Virtual Congress starting in March to prelect the themes for the JESEDU International Jesuit Congress in October. We will share information on these international events in coordination with Educate Magis.
Global Companionship - Defined

What does it mean for our schools to be in companionship with the world?  We will start to gather and hone descriptors of that characteristic this spring.
New to Hemispheres?
The Jesuit Schools Network initiates programs and provides services that enable its member schools to sustain their Ignatian vision and Jesuit mission of educational excellence in the formation of young men and women of competence, conscience and compassion.
