Henderson Behavioral Health is happy to announce that we have received two grant awards from our community partners, Parkland Cares and Broward Cares Funding Collaborative.

Parkland Cares awarded Henderson a grant to fund Crisis Intervention Services provided by Henderson's Mobile Crisis Response Team.

Broward Cares Funding Collaborative (The Community Foundation of Broward, Jewish Federation of Broward County, and United Way of Broward County) awarded funding to assist two employees and one Henderson facility with flood related damages.

Dr. Steve Ronik, Henderson’s CEO, noted, “We have so much gratitude towards both the Broward Cares Funding Collaborative and Parkland Cares, for their deep support of our mission and organization. It really means a lot.”

Parkland Cares was founded in honor of all those impacted by the Parkland, FL tragedy of 2018. Parkland Cares provides funding and awareness for trauma care and mental health services by awarding grants to local non-profit agencies who provide counseling for those in the South Florida community affected by trauma.

During times of disaster, Broward Cares Partners- the Community Foundation of Broward, Jewish Federation of Broward County and United Way of Broward County- activate Broward Cares to raise donations and coordinate grant distributions to help with relief and recovery where it’s needed most. A list of all contributors can be found at browardcares.org

We thank both organizations for the funding and appreciate our ongoing partnership!
