Backpack Stuffing Event-School Supply Drive

Now until September 11

We will be collecting the following supplies to stuff backpacks on Kickoff Sunday for neighborhood kids in need!

• Backpacks

• Tissue/Kleenex Packs

• Washable markers

• Crayons

• Glue sticks

• Blunt tip scissors

A neighborhood event after the worship service, where all are welcome! Come for games, family activities, face painting, tie dying, ice cream, a bouncy house and more!

Bible Sunday

October 9

October 9th will be Bible Sunday! Every year at Hennepin the 3 year olds, 3rd graders, and 8th graders are presented with a new Bible. Stay tuned for more detailed instructions and what to expect in worship that morning.

September 11 is Kickoff Sunday!

I hope that you will all plan to attend! It is going to be so much fun! Here is what you can expect: We will begin worship in the Sanctuary and you can sit together as a family. The children will be invited to the front for the children's message and following the children's message the Sunday School teachers and myself will lead the children out for our Sunday School kick off in the Chapel. Following worship you can join your kids to participate in the festivities happening in Carlson Hall and outside!

Hey Families! Let's meet for lunch at the Market at Malcom Yards after church on Sunday, September 18. Anyone with kids at Hennepin is welcome to join us. Our purpose is simple – spend time together, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new families, and unite as families of HAUMC. We'll plan to be there from 11:30am-1pm.
