Henry Diltz Photography
In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, Southern California hosted a renaissance-style music scene that was as exciting then as it is influential today.

Henry Diltz was a full-fledged and willing participant in this scene. As a founding member of The Modern Folk Quartet, Henry’s roots as a musician coupled with his agreeable demeanor allow him to capture images of his musician friends that convey a rare feeling of trust and intimacy.

For the past five decades Henry has been documenting music history. As a visual historian, Henry’s photographs have graced iconic album covers and are regularly featured in books, magazines, newspapers and documentary films.
