And the winners are...
Dear Friend,

I don't know about you, but the increasingly warm sunshine, the singing of birds, and the green growth all around are giving me renewed energy, joy, and strength. I've always loved the changing of seasons and all it represents. But this year and this moment feels especially significant because the hope of a new season is finally in sight, after one of great difficulty for many.

The Bible gives us this promise in Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens..." We can trust that just as God created the seasons, he will be with us through them all, and do something new when the time is right.

As an organization, Hephzibah has been through its own season of change. Through our recent survey, we have loved hearing from many of you about what the past seasons have meant to you. We also appreciate your confidence that God is leading us to greater levels of impact in transforming the lives of vulnerable children in this new season.

Frieda Weaver, pictured alongside her husband, Bud, Superintendent of Hephzibah Children's Home from 1962-68, wrote in her survey about the transition to Hephzibah62:4,

"Times change and methods of accomplishing
 the same things change, too."
The constructive feedback we have received from the survey has been extremely valuable. To ensure everyone has access to details of the transition they may have missed along the way, we’ve linked some relevant letters and articles below:

  1. Hephzibah Announces Bold Ministry Redesign (January 2018)
  2. Revisioning Update (February 2018)
  3. New Name, Same Mission (November 2018)
  4. Hephzibah Update (March 2019)
  5. Hephzibah62:4 Blog: Our full library of communications, from January 2018 to present, can be found on our blog (recent posts first).

We are thrilled for the opportunity to connect personally with so many, and thank you for your patience as we work through all the survey responses we have received. We value each and every one of you.

AND THE WINNERS ARE... Soon we will have all survey responses, received or postmarked by May 1, in hand. We will be drawing the names of 4 survey respondents, each of whom will receive a $25 gift card of their choice. If you are one of the winners, expect to be contacted personally!
