Dear Friend,
Anniversaries invite reflection, and this month I am reflecting on the two years since God surprised me with the exciting opportunity to help lead Hephzibah62:4 into a new season of exponential impact. But I need to make a confession:
I nearly missed the opportunity.
Why? Because "I don't have the right skill set." Because, "I don't have that kind of margin in my life." Because, "I'm not that kind of leader." In short, I was the queen of excuses.
Thankfully, God placed wise, godly leaders, family members and friends in my path who saw beyond my excuses and recognized my potential.
And thankfully, I discovered the antidote to my excuses: confession and obedience.
The result? I am thankful I haven't missed opportunities to experience God's love, faithfulness, and provision in powerful new ways. I am thankful I haven't missed this intense season of growth, spiritually and otherwise. And I am thankful I haven't missed a front row seat to God working to transform the lives of vulnerable children through Hephzibah62:4, as together we have:
-
Helped 13 orphans and vulnerable children join their forever families through adoption grants
-
Grown our network of partners to 24 churches with a shared vision
-
Equipped 12 of those churches with ministry grants to help their work with vulnerable children become more sustainable
-
Helped our partner churches engage more effectively with the vulnerable children they serve, through a growing number of equipping resources
Last, but certainly not least, I am thankful for the individuals, families and churches who faithfully pray for Hephzibah62:4 and give of their time, talent and treasure, as acts of worship. I am honored and humbled to serve alongside side you.

Looking forward to the next two years (and beyond)!
