February 2025

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Hello Jodi,

In our 125th year of transforming the lives of vulnerable children, we are excited to offer MORE momentum-building opportunities for the Hephzibah62:4 community. If you feel God leading you deeper into our shared mission, please join us at any of the opportunities below!

COMING UP NEXT is our FREE 3-week Trauma-informed Cohort, featuring live training and Q&A with Wesleyan trauma-informed experts. Find more information and a sneak peak of each session below

Session 1: Introduction to ACE's and Trauma-informed Discipleship with Pastor Dayna Carr

Sneak peak of session: As we serve in our communities and congregations, God often leads us to people who have experienced incredible pain. It is important to be equipped to minister in ways that appropriately acknowledge trauma.

Join us on February 25 @ 12-1:15PM EST to discover more.

Session 2: Emotional Poverty in All Demographics with Pastor Ed Spencer

Sneak peak of session: Trauma leads to brain dysregulation and predictable patterns of social-emotional reactions and behavior, which we can learn to identify and address to create a greater level of felt safety and belonging in our ministries.

Join us on March 4 @ 12-1:15PM EST to discover more.

Session 3: Positive Childhood Experiences, an evidence-based approach that protects children while addressing challenging behaviors with Dr. Stacy Haynes

Sneak peak of session: Explore the impact of trauma on spiritual development and discover practical strategies to create a welcoming and supportive church environment for traumatized youth.
