Trauma-informed care has never been more important

Hello Jodi,

Recent events have left large parts of the southeastern U.S. absolutely devastated. Our hearts are broken for those who have lost their homes, church buildings, and loved ones. The road to recovery will be long, and that of emotional healing even longer. While buildings can be rebuilt, trauma, particularly childhood trauma, can leave deep scars.

As Wesleyans committed to caring for the vulnerable, we recognize the importance of caring for children, youth, and adults in trauma-informed ways. That is why we are excited to let you know that one of our trusted partner organizations, Trauma Free World, has recently made all their excellent on-demand trainings available FREE OF CHARGE to our Wesleyan churches, and the world! Hephzibah62:4 is proud to partner financially with Trauma Free World to help make this possible.

We are convinced that trauma-informed care is a crucial component of holistic discipleship.

We pray that these trainings will be a blessing to you as you minister to the most vulnerable among us, and let's all continue to pray for those impacted by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.
