Expanded Hours
Wilton Library has extended its hours for the back to school season! Library hours for in-person visits for adults and teens and at the Drive-Thru Window will be Mondays - Thursdays, 10-8, Fridays, 10-6, Saturdays, 10-5, and now Sundays, 1-5. The Children's Library hours are Mondays - Fridays, 10-6, Saturdays, 10-5, and now Sundays, 1-5.

Homework Help + Live Tutors
It's back to school season, and that means homework. The library has lots of educational resources for students of all ages, including:

Get online homework help and test prep assistance with HelpNow. Live tutoring is available in English and Spanish from 2pm - 11pm every day in core subjects, including math, science, social studies, and English language arts. Students may submit papers to HelpNow’s Writing Lab for expert feedback, or collaborate with peers in virtual study spaces. Help is also available for college entrance exams (ACT, SAT, PSAT), graduate school exams (GRE, GMAT), nursing school exams, GED, TOEFL, US Citizenship, the FAFSA form and more. Visit HelpNow

How to Talk with Your Child’s Team: Effective Communication During the PPT/504 Process

In PPT or 504 meetings with parents and school personnel, the stakes are high and the decisions made could ultimately determine the direction of a child's education and future path. In this workshop, licensed behavior analyst and family therapist Todd Kellogg will discuss the importance of effective communication skills and how parents can forge collaborative relationships with school personnel. The College Timeline: What to Do When

How do you start researching schools? How many AP exams should you take? What about SATs and ACTs? These are just a few of the questions high school students have as they start to think about college. Join college counselor Priyanka Shingala of Let’s Talk College, and get advice on important items and a timeline for the high school years. This program is designed for 8th grade - high school students and their parents. Registration required to receive the Zoom invitation link.
Our popular Awesome Autumn Book Sale Fundraiser takes place Saturday, Sept. 25 through Tuesday Sept. 28. Everyone is covered - from tots to teens in the Brubeck Room plus a full Book Cellar featuring a huge assortment of books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, and rare and collectible items. Proceeds benefit the library. Make sure to mark your calendars and stop by!

Senior Center Book Discussion: The Poets Laureate Anthology

The Senior Center Book Discussion is back! Judson Scruton will lead a discussion of a selection of poems from The Poets Laureate Anthology, which brings together a sampling of works of the 43 "poets laureate" of the United States. It's Library Card Sign-Up Month and Wilton Library invites all new Wilton residents to apply for cards for the whole family. Click here to get your Wilton Library card.
