Responsible for the implementation and administration of accounting processes and internal controls in Driscoll’s of Southern Hemisphere (DSH) Business Unit (BU) currently spanning Chile, Peru, Columbia, and South Africa. Directs and coordinates the monthly close process and delivers the financial reporting package in line with US GAAP and Driscoll’s accounting policies while ensuring compliance with local GAAP for statutory and regulatory purposes (e.g., transfer pricing). Responsible for the implementation and optimization of financial processes and internal controls defined under Driscoll's global control framework.

Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for all employees at the distribution center and will need to work effectively with other Supervisors at the Distribution Center. Actively supports employees in job growth and provides leadership when asked by these same employees. Works in creating process improvement solutions to optimize productivity, efficiency, while maintaining accurate data entry into the system. 

Assists in specific duties to ensure the overall success of the Nursery Greenhouse Operations. Daily duties will consist of specialized greenhouse related activities.

Manages all technical aspects of software development projects providing technical leadership to internal and external development teams, serves on various project committees reporting projects’ progress and provides technical guidance to projects’ team members, managers, and internal customers. Responsible for all project deliverables from the technical standpoint to meet the functional needs: systems technical requirements, architecture, design, coding, and will help develop processes for and support testing and deployment and defect management.

The Volunteer Center of Santa Cruz County is looking for a volunteer receptionist. Personable and organized volunteers to assist the office manager with the following duties:
  • Answering inbound calls
  • Meeting and greeting Volunteer Center program participants and direct them to the proper department
  • Assisting with mailings and other administrative duties, as needed
  • Assisting with office and facility scheduling
  • Collaborating on event planning
  • Collecting press clipping and organizing the media binder
  • Opening mail and assisting with mail distribution
