Highlighted Employer
Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, repair and construction work on airport equipment, grounds, taxi lanes, taxiways and runway, aircraft parking aprons, aeronautical visual aids and associated infrastructure(s). Performs safety and security inspections of runways, ramp areas, surrounding in-field areas in addition to fencing for compliance with FAA safety standards. Reports and/or repairs conditions that are not in compliance. Additionally performs janitorial services for hangar and terminal facilities.  

Performs professional-level human resources duties in the administration of recruitment and examination, classification and compensation, employee benefits, employee/labor relations, employee training and development, workers compensation, benefits administration, implements and administers assigned program responsibilities, conduct research, analysis and preparation of reports; and other duties as assigned.  

Provides supervision to a specific area of the Recreation Division, including planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating assigned portions of the City’s recreation program. Receives limited supervision within a broad framework of policies and procedures. Directs, coordinates, supervises, and formally evaluates the work of others.

Performs complex professional and technical civil engineering work in support of City public works projects. Receives general supervision within a broad framework of policies and procedures. This job class may monitor and direct the work of engineering support staff in a lead capacity. This job class functions at the fully experienced journey level in the professional engineering class series. Assigned to one or more specialized areas such as serving as the engineer in overall charge of public works construction projects; providing engineering support and direction to wastewater, solid waste, and water operations, or reviewing plans and specifications for conformance with established engineering practices.
