Processes all invoices for payment using Salud's guidelines for proper cash disbursement. Accounts Payable Assistant will also be responsible for ensuring the proper signing of all invoices.

Reviews coding practices and identifies coding errors, collaborates with the billing department, providers, and data systems to correct or clarify the coding or electronic healthcare set-up and ensure billing is completed. Responsible for accurate healthcare coding information between providers, billing department, patients and third-party payers.

Performs professional and management duties in support of the agency’s employee and labor relations program. Assignments may include, but are not limited to, employee relations, labor relations, labor negotiations, policy and procedure development, human resources information management, training, supervision, employee development, special projects and other personnel or general administrative functions, may act as department head in the absence of the Chief Human Resources Officer; performs other duties as assigned. 

Supports the Director of Fund Development & Communications in pre- and post-award administration of grants and oversight of grant-related compliance regulations. The major duties are grants management and administration of federal, state, local and private foundations that support Salud’s strategic priorities. This position will be assigned complex and challenging grant submissions including some grants that will be large program grants with or without subcontractors. Responsibilities include managing the lifecycle of grant awards including coordination of grant application and report submissions, setting timelines, providing guidance on required elements, development of budgets for grant proposals, award analysis, conducting post-award expenditure tracking/information sharing/reporting, and ensuring compliance with funder requirements and subrecipient monitoring analysis.
