Majority of Hanover homes to have internet by late 2024

Our Connect Hanover partners shared with the Board of Supervisors last week that the first home connections are coming in early 2024!

This means that a majority of unserved homes and businesses in Hanover County that want broadband, should have it before the end of next year. That's nearly 6,200 locations!

Want to get connected? Learn more by watching the full interview from All Points Broadband.

What a week for Fire-EMS!

Hanover County Fire-EMS Department participated in an ammonia emergency response training exercise last week.

These first responders experienced a live-release ammonia drill to learn how to control and confine it.

We celebrated some of Hanover's most hardworking heroes at the department's annual promotional ceremony.

Because the pandemic put this celebration on pause, we recognized firefighters who have been promoted over the past four years.
