Kicking off our 9/11 Day of Service

Team Hanover came together on the steps of the Hanover County Administration Building this morning to kick off our Day of Service.

This year, we are honoring the fallen heroes of 9/11 by participating in a National Day of Service and volunteering on a number of community projects.

Thank you to Woodmen of the World for delivering American flags across the County to our friends at the Sheriff’s Office, Fire-EMS and Parks and Recreation

We appreciate your donation and dedication to honoring those who sacrificed that day.

Members of the Hanover Youth Service Council have been working for months to create 400 cards for our Fire-EMS team!

The teens will spend the day delivering them to stations across the County along with gift baskets.

Leaving our mark on Hanover

We left our mark on Hanover last week, literally.

County leaders came together with community partners to sign the latest beam being raised at Montpelier Recreation Center and Library.

This is truly a project created by our community, for our community. The center will house a library, gym and classroom space and we can't wait to fill it with residents next year!
