Texas REALTORS' legal staff has updated the Model Brokerage Policies and Procedures Manual, which
provides Texas brokers with written policies required by TREC
.

GLAR Governmental Affairs Committee will be interviewing local candidates running for city council positions in FM, LV, Corinth (HV has no Election this year). County candidates will be interviewed in June.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"

MLS Tip for March
Stay on Top of Your Contract Dates
NTREIS has modified the system to reject status changes that involve a contract date if the date is more than 5 days prior to the input date. Remember, the rules state that ALL status changes must be made in the MLS within 72 hours (3 calendar days).
Also, if there is an option period, the status
must
be made AO within 3 days of acceptance. You may
not
wait until the option period expires to reflect a contract.
