This original painting will be raffled at the OHS Reunion on September 2

Greetings Friends,
Here's hoping that everyone is enjoying the Summer of 2017. It has been a busy one here at HOS. We kicked off the season with a successful Shore Made Music Festival on June 17th. Our thanks to the many sponsors, volunteers, musicians, vendors and attendees who made the day such a fun community event celebrating local music. Please visit our
website for pictures and highlights of the day. Our community Room has been the site of many rentals and events this summer, the Waterman's Heritage Museum, always busy on weekends, also welcomed visitors with a Buy Boat display in early August. YouthWorks! was here in July and painted up a storm inside and out.
Please read on to find out what's coming up as we enter late summer into fall. You are not going to want to miss news about the upcoming OHS Reunion or our premier Oyster Trail event, November 12th - Save the Date!
Thank you so much for your warm response to our past e-newsletters. We appreciate your positive feedback and words of encouragement.

SPOTLIGHT ON ARTIST:
BILLY CROCKETT, MASTER CARVER
This newsletter we shine a spotlight on Billy Crockett, Master Carver. We are so pleased that his studio is located here at HOS. Billy has been an avid nature lover all of his life and brings that love and respect to life from a simple block of wood. His studio is a wonder of birds and wildlife of every size & description. He has an easy way and makes his intricate work look easy. He is a good teacher as well, has taught classes to mere mortals and the results have been amazing!
Drop in his studio,#117 on the south wing, where he can be found most every day - well, except when he is out on the water or beach gathering new ideas and artifacts for his next creations!

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
