This Nittany Notes is the last one before Christmas and the year end. I want to wish each of you a very hearty Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We are celebrating and giving thanks for Immanuel, God with us. The great and good news is that we celebrate the good news of Jesus Christ each day and throughout our School. We pray and see His miracles and gifts throughout the year.
Thank you to all of you - parents, students and extended families, for the ways that you breathe life into NCS and share in its wonderful mission.

KERRY BENNINGHOFF VISITS 8TH GRADE
- PA State Representative Kerry Benninghoff visited with the 8th grade class at Nittany Christian School recently. On his visit, Rep. Benninghoff shared what some of his duties are as a State Representative and answered questions from the students. What an incredible opportunity for our students to learn more about our State government system! Thank you Mr. Benninghoff!

HEALTH SCREENING ON JANUARY 4TH
Health
Screening
for NCS students will occur on Wednesday, January 4th by a team of SCASD nurses. This basic
screening
will include vision, hearing, height and weight. Also, if there are any 6th or 7th grade students who have not submitted a recent physical, those students will also be discreetly checked for Scoliosis.

NCS DRAMA STUDENTS SHOWCASED

Pioneer Drama Service is the source of many of the drama materials for the dramas that are performed by Nittany Christian Middle School Drama students. On a recent visit to their website, it was fun to discover that two of our recent productions are being featured in slide shows on their website. Go take a peek and see some great photos taken by our very own, Mrs. Sahmra Plank, of the productions of Peter Pan and The Ninth Train. Also, on the home page, you will see a photo of former NCS student, Sela Plummer, in her poignant role in The Ninth Train.

After the PTF Christmas shop was closed up, it was realized that a student had picked up two empty boxes. If you or a loved one receives an empty box, please let us know. We have your present!

NCS SOFT PLASTIC RECYCLE CONTINUES
- Recycle your soft plastic items (ie: grocery bags, case over-wrap, bread and produce bags, wood pellet bags, cereal bags, newspaper sleeves, etc.). Just bring your soft plastic items in and place them in the bins located in the stairwell.
