Dana Point Boaters,
In our continued efforts to get the October 1, 2021, slip rate increase lowered or reversed we need your assistance. Below are two action items for this week.
August 25, 2021, California State Lands Commission Meeting:
"State Lands Commission (SLC) is the steward and manager of the state's public trust lands. SLC has direct administrative control over the state's public trust lands and oversight authority over public trust lands granted by the Legislature to local governments.”
Public comment for virtual State Lands Commission meetings can be provided in multiple ways.
We encourage ALL Dana Point boaters to provide written public comments to SLC prior to Wednesday’s meeting. Follow the below steps to provide written public comment:

You are welcome to submit written comments to the Commission via email. Please send your comment to cslc.commissionmeetings@slc.ca.gov. All written materials exhibited to the Commission during the meeting (presentations, maps, etc.) are part of the public record and are kept by the Commission.
-
In the subject line of your email, indicate the meeting date and the topic of your comment. As your subject line please use: "8/25/2021 Meeting-External Affairs-County of Orange Grantee-Dana Point Harbor."
