Caring Women's Connection Yoga, Wine & Chocolate
Sign up for the Caring Women’s Connection Yoga, Wine and Chocolate scholarship fundraiser on Thursday, Jan. 27 at 6:30 pm. The new year is a great time to start working towards managing depression in easily digestible steps. The Barrington chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers FREE weekly online support groups for families, parents, LGBTQ+ connection recovery, and more. Barrington's White House will host the 5th Annual Barrington Town-Warming on “Security in a Post-Pandemic World” Saturday, Feb. 5 from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm at 145 W. Apply for BACC Scholarship Now Through March 15
BACC is accepting applications for its 2022 Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship Awards now through Tuesday, March 15. The Chamber awards Lauren Brown Memorial scholarships each spring to local high school students pursuing higher education through a university, community college, or vocational/trade certification program. Eligible students must be from the Barrington area, or the student of an employee at a BACC member business. Scholarships range from $500 to $1,500. For details or to apply CLICK HERE.

Cook County Health Dept. Issues Vaccine Mandate
The Cook County Dept. of Public Health has issued a mandate stating that effective Monday Jan. 3, vaccines will be required for all patrons of dining, entertainment and fitness facilities in the City of Chicago and suburban Cook County. The mitigation order was issued in response to the current COVID-19 surge of cases and hospitalizations in suburban Cook County. For details CLICK HERE.
