I have acquired a block of hotel rooms in Ft. Lauderdale for one or two nights before the trip. I was able to get great rates at the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port for 159.00 USD per night, $179.00 with taxes. This block is being held until December 5.
A few things to take note of when booking:
Click on the book now link to get to the booking page direct with the hotel
The block is for two nights, but you can modify the dates if you want just one night
The only booking option is a King bed option, that is because the hotel is just finishing up with renovations. My contact person at the hotel indicated that I can give her a list of those who need two queen beds and she will get them assigned. So for now, just book the king and I will change it to two beds if there are two of you.
The hotel has transfers from the airport, I will give you instructions on how to find them
I am still working on transfers to the pier. There is a company who has a desk in this hotel's lobby, I am waiting for them to call me back. I will most likely make sure we have seats reserved and then you can pay at the hotel. But let me work on that a bit more, I will send another email on that.
