Executive Director's Message - Karen L. Nedbal

Seems like yesterday we were getting ready for the Annual Conference in Albuquerque and now here we are in May – the years certainly do seem to go by faster all the time. I love the spring – it’s a time for me to look forward and make plans for the coming year – plans for my garden and flower beds, plans for the summer, and plans for vacation and seeing friends and family. Of course, this is a key time professionally as well as we make plans for the upcoming year for ACCED-I. May is budget month, it’s the month we plan the educational forums and other events, it’s the month we book contractors for the next Annual Conference, it’s when we open nominations for awards and start the call for programs – it’s a very busy time.
