Summer is fully here! Some of you will read that with excitement, others with a groan but however this finds you we are undeniably right in the thick of it. Summer is an interesting time for us here at the ACCED-I HQ – we are so busy making plans and changes and getting ready for the new (fiscal) year ahead.

Some of you will have read the email sent earlier this week about the dues increase – a necessary step to help the Association keep up with rising costs of operations. But this year, the increase will also help us launch our new AMS (Association Management System) which includes a new website and database. The team considered many options when looking for our next system – always keeping the needs and wants of our members in mind. It will be a busy summer as we transition from the old to the new, but we’re so excited to show it to you later this year. Get ready for a new look, new communication capabilities, and new networking opportunities! More

Honoring Diana Hakenholz’s 20 Years of Service

Join us in congratulating Diana Hakenholz, CMP, Director of Meetings & Education, as she celebrates 20 years of service at ACCED-I. Over the past two decades, she has contributed to significant changes within the Association that include embracing new technology and creating year-round educational programs tailored to member needs. Her insight and commitment as the staff liaison for ACCED-I action teams has made a lasting impact on members. Renew Your Membership at 2025 Rates!

The ACCED-I Board of Directors has approved a 5% increase in membership dues and a $25 increase for additional roster members for FY 2025–2026. This modest adjustment ensures we can continue delivering high-quality in-person events, valuable membership benefits, and sustained service levels—despite rising operational and administrative costs.

This year’s dues increase will directly support the launch of a new association management system and website. These upgrades will significantly enhance member engagement, foster stronger community connections, and provide easier access to education and resources.
