Plausible Futures in a BANI Environment
We are a talented, resourceful, intelligent, and innovative community.
And that’s just the beginning.
One of our greatest strengths—as individuals and as a collective—is our ability to thrive amid chaos. Whether it's navigating events, summer conferences, revenue challenges, managing professional and student staff, COVID protocols, the enrollment cliff, or federal funding cuts, we consistently rise to the occasion. There, we joined colleagues from other leading associations—including ACPA, NODA, ACUI, APPA, and more—to discuss the evolving landscape of higher education. Together, we explored the plausible futures of our field and the enduring relevance of higher education associations in what many are calling a BANI world: Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, and Incomprehensible.
