Leading up to the Pinal County Historical Museum's Día de Los Muertos Celebration on October 31st (12:00 pm to 4:00 pm), we welcome you to join our traditional craft-making sessions throughout October! Join us on Tuesdays (10/5-10/26) at the Suter House (270 N Pinal St), and Saturdays (10/9 -10/30) at PCHS Museum (715 S Main St) all month long from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm to learn and help make traditional Mexican flowers, masks, and candle wrappers. Decorate your own personal ofrenda at the Suter House on Tuesdays or take one home to celebrate those who have passed and return your ofrenda to the museum to display during the October 31st program. Register Now for the Día de Los Muertos Celebration!

Bring the entire family to our Día de Los Muertos Celebration on October 31st from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the museum (715 S Main St). Dance to the music of Mariachi Luz de Luna, enjoy Folklorico dance, food, and special guest Zarco Guerrero, well-known performer, and artist. Zarco will tell the story of Día de Los Muertos through six characters. Enjoy several hands-on activities for the entire family, including making shoebox ofrendas (altars), mask making, rock art activity, and more! Tickets are (adults 19+) $10 early bird/ $12 at the door; children 18 and under are no charge. Follow the link now for early-bird registration!

APS Sponsoring the First Saturday at the Museum!

Thank you to APS for sponsoring the First Saturday at the Museum! Every first Saturday of the month (September-June), the museum waives admission fees to provide the community with an affordable, educational, and family-friendly experience for the community.
Every first Saturday, we will offer rotating family-friendly activities, including a scavenger hunt, a local geology activity, backyard bingo, desert animals, and more! Check our Facebook page for more details.

Florence Copper Community Foundation Awards Museum Grant
We are thrilled to announce that the Florence Copper Community Foundation has awarded PCHS Museum a grant to support our online programs. This year, PCHS Museum has offered ten virtual programs for the benefit of the community.
Our Book Club & Author Presentation Series beginning November 14th will be a hybrid model of attending the program in-person or virtually.
