ART IN THE CANYON

Call for Art: 3rd Annual Canyon Kaleidoscope Community Art Show

We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Canyon Kaleidoscope Community Art Show! This is an open invitation to share your creativity, craft & art — no need to consider yourself a "professional artist" to participate. All are welcome!

Submission Details:

  • You can submit 1 to 3 pieces
  • Bring paintings, drawings, and mixed media. We also welcome weaving, knitting projects, and small sculptures that can fit on the built-in shelves or a pedestal.
  • While we aim to include all submitted work, we can only guarantee space for one piece per participant. Additional pieces will be accepted as space allows.

What to Share:

  • Finished pieces, process work, sketchbook drawings, experiments, or anything you're excited about sharing. This is a celebration of creativity in all its forms!
  • Let this be an opportunity to showcase your unique perspective, whether you're a seasoned artist or exploring art for the first time.

Important Dates:

Monday, February 3

Framing Help Day // 3 to 5:30pm

  • Join us at the Community Center for assistance with framing your pieces or choosing which ones to submit.

Monday, February 10

Bring Your Art Pieces // 3 to 3:30pm

  • Drop off your artwork at the Community Center between 3:00 and 3:30pm.
  • All pieces to be hung must have a wire attached.
  • Fill out the Art Submission Form for each piece, including your name, title of the piece, whether it is for sale or not, and the sale price.
  • We will begin hanging the show at 3:30pm —please let us know if you can assist with installation.

We hope you'll join us in making this year's Canyon Kaleidoscope a beautiful reflection of our creative community!

SUPPPORT Z-ARTS!

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO BECOME A MEMBER!

JOIN OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP TODAY!

Membership is enormously important to the sustainability of Z-Arts. There are several different Z-Arts membership levels (Individual, Family, Artist, Business, and Benefactor.)

Memberships give back to the community.  Our local non-profit organization relies on small grants, memberships, sponsorships, and donations to provide quality arts and humanities programming within the Zion Canyon.  Your membership also includes discounts at some ticketed events, workshop fees, as well as receiving the “Here’s Z Buzz” weekly newsletter email.

Memberships help demonstrate to granting agencies that Z-Arts has the support of its community.  Each year we hope to do more to enrich and educate the canyon communities with the wonderful art all around us, and your support will help us to continue this quest.  As a reminder, your entire membership and contributions are tax deductible and is good for one year.

Thank you so very much for considering this request. Scan the QR code below for Square or join at zarts.org which will take you to a secure page.
