Congratulations to Two New Home Owners Sade & Keena!
Sade is our first completed homeowner of the 2020 - 2021 fiscal year. Covid-19 masks can't hide the huge smile that Sade is sporting as she accepts her new house key from Habitat Family Service Manager, Amy Jo Westbrooks.

For the very first time Sade and her 12 year-old daughter, Zipporah have a place to build their own memories in a special place they call home.

To find out more about Sade's journey check out this great article from the Brunswick Beacon.

Congratulations Sade!

Keena is the second completed homeowner for the 2020 - 2021 fiscal year. She began her journey with Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity just over a year ago. Keena works in the medical field in Southport. She is thrilled to be have a place she can call home!

Congratulations Keena!

Although we won't be able to celebrate these homes in person due to the pandemic, we will hope you join us for a virtual dedication. Keep watching your inbox and our Facebook for updates.

We've met our match! We are overflowing with gratitude to Ultimate Storage Company. Last month, the Bhatia family generously offered a $10,000 donation challenge to Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity. This incredible seed gift allowed us to raise a total of $20,000 to be used toward affordable housing right here in our community! We are so humbled and full of gratitude for this incredible opportunity. Thank you so much to the Bhatia family and all of you who made this possible.
New Home Build in Eagle Pines
Volunteers have been busy on our latest house build. The walls are up on and we are moving forward! This home in Eagle Pines is the future home of April and her 3 year old niece. April is so excited to be a part of the Habitat program and can't wait to move into her new home.

On the Build Site
Partner family, Beth works with volunteer Greg to learn how to properly use power tools on the jobsite.
Did you know, our partner families volunteer to build on houses that aren't their own. In Habitat terms it's called 'Sweat Equity'. Partner families are required to volunteer throughout the program before they close on their home.
Have You Met Craig?
Join us in welcoming construction lead, Craig to the Brunswick County Habitat family.

Craig has lived in the county for the past 20 years. You may have run into Craig around town on the golf course or with a fishing pole in his hand. He and his wife, have two kids to keep them busy.

He brings to Habitat his years of experience as a licensed contractor. You will find Craig all week on the jobsite overseeing the construction of our new Habitat Homes.
