TIFERETH CARES:
MAKING & DELIVERING SOUP TO MEMBERS IN NEED
Whether recovering from an illness, mourning a los s, or adjusting to life with an infant, sometimes we just need a little reminder that our community cares. That’s why we’re organizing a new initiative to deliver pre-made soup and challah to congregants in need!

Interested in helping out? No commitment required! Rather than forming a committee, we are hoping to have a large group of volunteers willing to help out occasionally by picking up pre-made soup and challah from the synagogue kitchen and dropping it off to a family in need, when they have a free afternoon. Sign up to be included on our list of volunteers who will receive no more than one email per week, with opportunities to fulfill this mitzvah, at your convenience.

Questions? Know someone who could use a warm reminder that Tifereth cares about them? Be in touch with Rabbi Braver or our volunteer coordinator, Susan Sitler.

Over the course of the year, we’ll also be offering opportunities to join together to make a large batch of soup, which we’ll freeze and distribute to community members who could use a reminder of the warmth and love of our shul. Be on the lookout for more information soon.
ENTRYWAY PAVING BRICKS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
Paving bricks at Tifereth Israel's parking lot entrance are available to purchase. An eight-by-eight-inch brick with up to six lines of text (each containing up to 18 characters per space) costs $360. A four-by-eight-inch brick with up to three lines of text (each containing up to 18 characters) costs $180. Those interested in purchasing a brick should contact Executive Director Steve Friedman at 614-928-3269.

SUPPORT CTI WHEN YOU SHOP
Two programs now give members the opportunity to provide needed funds to Tifereth Israel, without changing their current shopping habits. AmazonSmile  is operated by Amazon and has the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of your purchase to Congregation Tifereth Israel. Just search for us by name when you log into your account. Tifereth Israel also earns through the   Kroger Community Rewards   program. If you have a Kroger Plus card, please register it with the program and select Congregation Tifereth Israel to receive a donation based on your purchases each time you use your card. Please encourage your family and friends to use both of these services when they shop.
STREAMING LIVE FROM TIFERETH ISRAEL
A generous gift by long-time members Ronnie Blank & Bev Weston has made it possible for more services, programs, and classes than ever to be available to those unable to come to Tifereth Israel by way of live streaming over the internet. To view a program, class, or service, go to   www.tiferethisrael.org   and click on the Live Stream button at the top of the page.
