Wednesday Evenings in Lent: The Final Days

March 12 – April 9, 6–8 p.m. in the Parish Hall

Join us for our Wednesday Lenten Series as we journey through The Final Days: A Lenten Journey Through the Gospels by Matt Rawle. This powerful study explores Jesus’ final days through the lens of each Gospel, revealing profound themes of justice, love, sacrifice, and redemption. Each evening will include a time of worship, discussion, and reflection, helping us prepare our hearts for Easter. A soup and bread dinner will be provided—sign up in the narthex to bring soup. Don’t miss this opportunity for spiritual growth and community as we walk the road to the cross together.

Let us know if you’re planning on attending by emailing mail@goodsheponline.org or calling the church office. This helps us prepare.

Lenten Bible Study: "Return to Me"

Wednesdays from Ash Wednesday to Holy Week

11:00 AM

A Seven-Week Journey of Vulnerability, Surrender, and Renewal

This Lent, you are invited to a deeper, more meaningful walk with Christ through our seven-session Bible study, "Return to Me." Rooted in the wisdom of Henri Nouwen and Jürgen Moltmann, we will explore themes of repentance, struggle, healing, and transformation.

Lent is more than a season—it is an invitation. An invitation to embrace our woundedness as a place of healing, our doubts as a doorway to deeper faith, and our emptiness as a space where Christ meets us. Each week, we will journey with Scripture, reflecting on Christ’s path from the wilderness to the cross and, ultimately, to the hope that is to come.

Join us Wednesdays from Ash Wednesday to Holy Week at 11 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

Theological Book Study: Looking Ahead to Lent

Thursdays beginning March 6th at 4 pm

Beginning March 6, the Theological Book Study will be reading Turning Over Tables, by Kathy Escobar. With keen insight and unwavering conviction, the author guides readers on a Lenten journey inspired by the ways of Jesus to dismantle the systems that perpetuate inequality and injustice. Each week we will explore the ways Jesus calls us to build a world where justice, healing, and equity reigns supreme. The book group meets on Thursdays at 4 pm, either in the library or by Zoom. All are welcome. Order your book today. Contact Mary Lou Crifasi for more information. (561-746-4674)

Sunday Forum: Getting to Know The Rev. Bonnie Quantrell Jones

Sunday, March 16 | 9:00 AM | Parish Hall

Join us for a special Sunday Forum as we welcome our new assisting priest, The Rev. Bonnie Quantrell Jones! This will be an opportunity to get to know Rev. Bonnie as she introduces herself and shares about her ministry. She and Father Groff will also engage in a thoughtful conversation on liturgical language—how it is created, used, and revised. They will explore the dynamic tension between preserving historic language and responding to the needs and sensibilities of our current cultural moment. Join us for an engaging Sunday Forum!
