Taste Of Good Shepherd: November 9th, 9:00 am & 11:15 am

A Taste of Good Shepherd is a showcase of the many opportunities for involvement in our parish family. Like a great recipe, we have a balance of ingredients: fellowship, administration of our gifts, caring, encouragement in faith, spirituality... and YOU! Don’t be the missing ingredient. Come to the Parish Hall on November 9 to learn more, eat well and have fun!

Help us answer the call and help us feed the hungry as many families are facing a difficult time. We always have a food bank, but because of increased need at this time, we need extra help.

Please bring food, especially: rice, canned vegetables, and canned meals like chili, soup, or mac and cheese to the Church office between now and November 9th.

Thank you to our partner, Treasure Coast Carpet and Interior, for collaborating with us on this very important project.

Together in Tequesta, we can make sure no neighbor goes hungry.

Looking Ahead

The spectacular holiday marketplace will be held SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15-16 on the Good Shepherd Campus. This huge open-air market and holiday bazaar is coordinated by Pennies for Heaven Thrift Shop.

It’s a fabulous community event with Christmas treasures and décor, delicious baked goods, thrift shop sale items and a lunch grill. Come find Christmas decorations and gifts, clothing, children’s toys, household items, and furniture.

LAST CALL FOR FURNITURE PICK-UP!

Bakers are also needed for the Bazaar — sign up now in the Narthex. Donations are needed now and volunteers are always appreciated! Contact Beth or Jennifer in the Thrift Shop for more information, 561-406-2923.

Bible Study With Clergy: November 12th, 11:00 am

Revelation Session 10: The Final Judgment and the New Jerusalem

Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Parish Hall, we turn to Revelation 20–21, where the story of God’s redemption reaches its breathtaking climax. The powers of evil are defeated, and a new heaven and new earth are revealed. The holy city descends, radiant with God’s glory, and a voice declares that God now dwells among the people—“He will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Join us as we explore how judgment gives way to renewal, and how the hope of the New Jerusalem transforms the way we live here and now.

Theological Book Study: November 13th, 4:00 pm

Join us as we study “How We Learn to be Brave: Decisive Moments in Life and Faith,” an inspirational guide by Mariann Edgar Budde, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese in Washington, D.C. We will discuss Chapter 5 this week. Contact Mary Lou Crifasi in the Church office for more information at 561-746-4674 or email: mcrifasi@goodsheponline.org.

Stewardship Campaign 2026

At Good Shepherd, we know that generosity doesn’t just sustain a budget—it shapes lives, forms faith, and builds a community where love grows.

When you give, you help create a church where welcome is real, worship is vibrant, and people of all ages find belonging. Your gift becomes the seed that helps ministries take root—from Sunday School to pastoral care, from music and liturgy to outreach and fellowship. It nurtures the soil of our shared life by supporting essential staff, maintaining our sacred spaces, and preparing us for growth.

As Scripture reminds us, we are “built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God” (Ephesians 2:22). And at the center of all we build stands Christ—our cornerstone, our strength, our joy.

This year, we invite you to be part of a harvest of hope. By making a pledge, you’re not just giving to a church—you’re helping love take root in every heart we serve.

Join us as we grow something beautiful—together!

Vestry Highlights

A Moment of Gratitude

This month’s Vestry Moment of Gratitude comes from Ron Doucette, who lifts up Debbie White with heartfelt thanks. Debbie has shared her many gifts with Good Shepherd for years — from her leadership as Assistant Choir Director, to guiding our children’s voices, and offering soaring solos that fill our sanctuary with beauty. Her creativity extends beyond Good Shepherd, as she also sings with the Masterworks Chorus, serves as a host at the Lighthouse Art Center, and participates in several church fellowship and prayer groups. As Debbie says, “My faith has brought me to my singing.” For that harmony of faith and music, we offer a resounding Amen.
