March 20th, 2026

Last week we talked about what it means to be placed — not just present, but purposefully positioned by God in this body of believers. That word kept coming back through the whole message: placed in the garden, placed in the church, placed here on purpose. My hope is that you left Sunday with a little less doubt about whether your presence in this place actually matters. It does.

This week we have a standalone message that I think is going to stay with you — one built around a beautiful image that speaks directly to what God does with the broken parts of our lives. I don't want to say too much. Just come ready. Then the following week we enter into Palm Sunday together, and the road to Easter begins.

See you Sunday,

Justin

Welcome to a Money Class where you don’t have to pretend to have it all figured out…

It’s called True Financial Freedom – a 6-week class where Bob & Linda Lotich walk you through the same blueprint that God used to lead them from a mountain of debt to a life of eternal impact.

Every session is full of specific and practical action steps, real-life stories, life-changing revelations, and even a bit of fun!

Through the class you’ll learn the “set-it-and-forget-it” money principles Bob & Linda developed over the past 15 years.

And by the end of the class, you’ll start to see more margin to spend on what’s important to you–plus, more time to focus on what’s really important:

Living out your God-given purpose and full potential in the world (without the stress of money holding you back).

Class preview is Thursday March 26th at 6:30pm.

Classes begin Thursday April 9th. Cost of the class is $85 per couple.

Enrollment now open.

Google Review

Would you take a moment to leave FCC a Google review? Your words help our church be recognized in our community as a place where people show up for one another, grow deeply in faith, and share Jesus’ love in ways that make a real impact.

  • Joyce & Jennifer Goodman - We are asking for prayer for our JYC middle schoolers. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts and minds and may He give us love & wisdom in teaching them God’s Word.
Also please continue to lift up everyone involved with Last Days, that God will be glorified.
  • Linda Green - God has been so good. I have cancer; 43rd month of chemo pills. Please remember and pray for Jim, he has long covid. We love our church family.
  • Pat & Amanda Cummings - Please pray for Peyton Beeks serving in our military overseas.
  • Rhythm Lovener - Pray for healing and personal growth. I have been living in sobriety.

WHO WE ARE...

First Christian Church The Dalles (FCC) is an independent Christian community, learning to follow Jesus together. The Bible points us to God and helps us live with faith, hope, and love. Each week we gather to worship, share communion, and encourage one another. Our mission is simple: to help people connect with Jesus, with each other, and with their purpose. Whether you’re spiritually curious or seeking to grow deeper in your faith, we believe life with God is a journey—and we would love to walk alongside you on yours.
