October 31st, 2025

Every church has a mission statement, but ours is more than words on a wall. It’s the heartbeat of who we are: to help people connect with Jesus, with each other, and with their purpose. That’s what we’re here for — to be a place where faith becomes connection, and connection leads to transformation.

Our vision reminds us that big change always begins small. We believe The Dalles can be transformed through the love of Jesus, one person at a time. It starts when one heart is touched by His grace — and that love ripples outward through families, friendships, and our city.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be taking a closer look at what this means for us — who we are, why we exist, and how each of us plays a part in the story God is writing through FCC. I hope you’ll join us as we lean in together and rediscover what makes our church family truly come alive.

WHO WE ARE...

First Christian Church The Dalles (FCC) is an independent Christian community, learning to follow Jesus together. The Bible points us to God and helps us live with faith, hope, and love. Each week we gather to worship, share communion, and encourage one another. Our mission is simple: to help people connect with Jesus, with each other, and with their purpose. Whether you’re spiritually curious or seeking to grow deeper in your faith, we believe life with God is a journey—and we would love to walk alongside you on yours.
