March 6th, 2026

Last Sunday we talked about what it actually means to overcome. Not the kind of victory that comes from trying harder or getting your act together, but the kind that belongs to you simply because of who you belong to. John's argument is that the one who has overcome the world lives in you — and that should absolutely influence how you face your week.

This Sunday we come to the end of John's letter. And the question he's been circling the whole time finally gets named out loud. Can you actually know that you have eternal life? John thinks you can. By the time we're done Sunday, you will too.

See you then.

It's time to begin thinking of spring & summer grounds keeping around the church. We're looking for a few lawnmowing people to be on a rotating schedule (hopefully once every two months). Talk to Randy Sparks on Sunday or call him at 541-705-7326.

Last Days of Jesus Pageant

The pageant is a month away and we are in need of Crowd/Mob at the Trial/Crucifixion scenes Sunday, March 8th, 2pm at the Wasco County Courthouse. Crowd mobs are crucial to these scenes and knowing when and what to yell makes it real for people coming to experience the pageant.

We need strong folks to help with props for practices and performances. Do you know how to run the spot lights? Please show up if you are able to help or contact Jennifer and Joyce at 541-296-3391. Thank you!

Are you one of our awesome volunteers but perhaps forgot when you're scheduled to serve? Here is the March 2026 Volunteer Calendar

  • Rhythm Lovener - I am asking for prayer for forgiveness & understanding. I have been down a long path of addiction and am glad to be free of it and am sober.

  • Eddy’s - Salvation for unsaved family and healing of broken/wounded relationships

  • Claire Cummings - My grandson, Peyton, is stationed in Northern Italy. Please pray for his safety especially during these rough times.

  • Dean Roberts - Please pray for my elderly mom. She fell recently and fractured her lower spine. She’s going thru rehab and continues to praise the Lord daily but needs healing.

  • Barb Thomas - Praise God! My surgery went well.

  • Clyde & Mary Keizur - Please pray for Chris. His CT scan showed a pocket of fluid & a possible partially collapsed lung. He needs complete healing.

  • Bridgette Wood - My 13 year old niece has to have a cardiac ablation on Wed March 4th. All prayers are appreciated.

  • Bryan Barnett - My relationship is in limbo. Please pray for me so that I may know where it’s going and keep my grandma in your prayers. Her hip keeps wanting to pop out. Pray for her health.

  • Goodman’s - Praise the Lord! We’ve received a couple emails from shoebox recipients in the Philippines.
