The pirates will soon ship off through Tampa Bay and are anticipated to leave quite a mess after a weekend of partying. Not only are you helping keep our community beautiful but all beads collected are donated to the MacDonald Training Center in Tampa to help fund their programs. This years Gasparilla shirt will be $5 at registration or $5 when you check in while supplies last.

We will be stationed at four different locations

  1. Fred Ball Park

Volunteer Accomplishments:

Community Cleanup Spotlight:

Thank you Adventure Outfitters for all your dive clean ups throughout 2022. This was held off of the Ballast Point Pier, and you can catch them again diving for beads after Gasparilla in the Garrison Channel. Adventure Outfitters is a huge ally to our trash free waters program, as they pull up tons of waste that we could never reach with our nets - some examples being scooters, motors, tires, and other large items.

Adopt-A-Road Spotlight:

Thank you Neg Kreyol Inc. with USF! This USF group contributes to litter removal on their adopted road and have cleaned up approximately 80 pounds of litter from our community. We are thankful to have them involved and look forward to working with them in the future!

2022 Environmental Impact

Education is the starting point for encouraging behavioral change toward community preservation and improvement. Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful engages the community to become lifelong stewards of our environment through volunteer opportunities. We empower individuals to begin with personal responsibility.

How To Get Involved!

Community Cleanups:

Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful provides a unique experience for groups to make a local impact in our community. We are encouraging individuals, families and small groups to participate in self-led cleanups. Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful will work with you to select a site if you do not already have a location in mind; provide free supplies for your group; coordinate with Parks and gain approval, if needed; and coordinate trash removal.

Student Leadership Opportunities

Keep Our Schools Beautiful

Keep Our School Beautiful (KOSB) is a service club for schools in Hillsborough County designed to complement existing service clubs or stand on its own. KOSB shares current environmental issues, opportunities, and practices with our youth. The goals of the KOSB club are to encourage students to take an active role in the ecological health of their community by mirroring the mission of Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful. Through hands-on participation in these programs, students will be stewards of their own environment and better equipped to communicate these issues to their peers.
