What an incredible week Hope!
Last weekend you really showed up by providing enough food through our annual
Souper Bowl Food Drive
to restock five Ankeny area food pantries including our own Cupboard, and all of Hope’s campuses combined filled more than 90 Des Moines metro pantries! In case you didn’t know, our Cupboard Food Pantry in the lower level is open every Tuesday from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm offering free food and personal items to our neighbors. Each month we serve about 1,000 individuals in need and that ministry continues to grow through the tireless work of dozens of volunteers. If that’s an area you feel would match your gifts and passions, check out the
on our website for more information about joining the Cupboard team!
On Wednesday, our Youth and Family Ministry braved the cold and snow to put on another high-impact evening of worship, teaching, and community building with our weekly
for parents and children,
for our middle schoolers, and
for high school students. God is on the move in some incredible ways through the next generation at Hope Ankeny, so a big thanks to the hundreds of volunteer leaders making a difference in the lives of our students.
And tonight, we get to open our doors wide for the annual
Daddy Daughter Dance
. This is an especially fun night for me when I get to bring my little girl all dressed up for a special evening, just the two of us. The Children’s Ministry teams have been hard at work for months getting ready and I’m excited to see all the unique crafts, snacks, and games they came up with. Tickets can be purchased at the door, if you don't already have yours.
None of these things are possible without the countless hours and incalculable effort of our volunteer teams. That’s how we like to do Church at Hope - together! So, if you’re looking to get in the game, we have a place that’s right for you to contribute to what God is up to in and through our community. Click

See you around Hope!
